Arkivyskupo Mečislovo Reinio rašytinis palikimas grindžiant švietimo ir ugdymo idėjas nepriklausomoje (1918-1940) ir atkurtoje (nuo 1990) Lietuvoje : disertacija

LTTyrimo problema. Arkivyskupo Mečislovo Reinio rašytinio palikimo susisteminimas ir ypač straipsnių, aptariančių švietimo ir ugdymo problemas mokslinė analizė, praplečia ir pagilina žinias apie tarpukario (1918–1940) Lietuvos politinį ir sociokultūrinį kontekstą, švietimo politikos ir asmenybės ugdymo nuostatas, šių nuostatų reikšmingumą 1990 m. atkurtos nepriklausomos Lietuvos švietimo sistemos reformavimui, ugdymo paradigmų kaitai, siekiant ugdymą grįsti tautinės mokyklos, humanizmo idėjomis, padaryti labiau atliepiantį asmenybės ugdymo poreikių įvairovę bei dvasingumą. Šiandien ugdymo įstaigų bendradarbiavimas su Bažnyčia, ypač dėl vis didėjančių globalizacijos iššūkių ir Trečiojo pasaulinio karo grėsmės, galėtų būti žymiai glaudesnis, o pačiame ugdymo procese vertybinis aspektas - ryškesnis. Problema, kuri yra esminė šio disertacinio tyrimo ašis, - siekis atskleisti, kuo savitos ir reikšmingos arkivyskupo M. Reinio švietimo ir ugdymo idėjos tiek anuometinės, tarpukario Lietuvos (1918 - 1940), tiek - atkurtos nepriklausomos Lietuvos (1990) sociokultūriniuose kontekstuose, keičiantis paradigmoms ir sąveikoje su Bažnyčia. Disertacinio tyrimo problema tikslinama šiais aspektais: 1. Kaip M. Reinio veikloje ir rašytiniame palikime, neatsiejant nuo socialinio ir kultūrinio konteksto, atsiskleidžia švietimo ir ugdymo klausimai? 2. Kokios teologijos ir ugdymo mokslų sąsajos išryškėja M. Reinio rašytiniame palikime švietimo ir ugdymo tematika? 3. Kokios švietimo ir ugdymo idėjos akcentuotos M. Reinio rašytiniame palikime buvo svarbios ne vien istoriškai, besikuriančios nepriklausomos Lietuvos (1918–1940) socialiniame bei kultūriniame kontekste, bet ir aktualios atkūrus nepriklausomybę (nuo 1990) ir pertvarkant švietimo sistemą iš sovietinės į šiuolaikinę vakarietišką.Tyrimo tikslas. Atskleisti M. Reinio rašytinio palikimo, kuriuo grindžiamos besikuriančios nepriklausomos Lietuvos (1918 - 1940.) švietimo ir ugdymo idėjos, savitumą bei jų aktualumą atkurtos Lietuvos (nuo 1990.) švietimo sistemai. Tyrimo uždaviniai 1. Kritiškai analizuoti M. Reinio rašytinio palikimo turinį ir savitumą, pasitelkiant su švietimo ir ugdymo tematika susijusius nepriklausomos Lietuvos (1918 - 1940) dokumentus bei to meto mokslininkų idėjas. 2. Nagrinėjant M. Reinio pastoracinę, akademinę ir politinę veiklą, atskleisti arkivyskupo angažuotumą švietimo bei ugdymo klausimais, teologijos ir edukologijos sąsajas su socialiniu bei kultūriniu kontekstu. 3. Analizuoti arkivyskupo M. Reinio rašytinį palikimą dviejų sociokultūrinių kontekstų sandūroje: anuometinės Europos ir besikuriančios nepriklausomos Lietuvos, parodant ir pagrindžiant M. Reinio švietimo ir ugdymo idėjų savitumą bei reikšmę. 4. Atskleisti M. Reinio straipsnių turinio ryšį su ugdymo filosofijos kryptimis. 5. Įvertinti M. Reinio švietimo ir ugdymo idėjų aktualumą atkurtos Lietuvos (po 1990), o taip pat ir šių dienų švietimo ir ugdymo nuostatoms. Tyrimo aprėptis Įgyvendinant disertacijoje iškeltus uždavinius, aptarta arkivyskupo M. Reinio biografija, išanalizuota jo pastoracinė, akademinė ir politinė veikla, pristatytas istorinis, sociokultūrinis kontekstas ir jo nulemta švietimo ir ugdymo problematika, plačiai aprašytos filosofinės kryptys, turėjusios įtakos M. Reinio švietimo ir ugdymo idėjoms, tyrinėtas jo rašytinis palikimas. [...]. [eLABa]

ENRelevance of the study. The relevance of the study carried out in the present dissertation focuses on the systematisation of Archbishop Mečislovas Reinys’ written legacy, with a specific emphasis on the scientific analysis of his articles addressing education and upbringing. This analysis aims to expand and deepen our understanding of the political and socio-cultural context of Lithuania between the two world wars (1918 -1940), the educational policy and personality development attitudes prevalent during that time, and the significance of these attitudes in the year 1990. The study also investigates the educational system reform in independent Lithuania, the shift in educational paradigms towards the principles of national schooling and humanism, and the responsiveness to diverse needs of personality development and spirituality. Today, in light of the challenges posed by globalisation and the potential threat of a Third World War, there is a growing need for closer cooperation between educational institutions and the Church. Furthermore, the value aspect of the educational process itself should be accentuated. The primary focus of this dissertation research revolves around the problem, which aims to uncover the distinctiveness and significance of Archbishop M. Reinys’ ideas regarding education and upbringing within the socio-cultural contexts of inter-war Lithuania (1918-1940) and the re-established independent Lithuania (1990). This examination takes place against the backdrop of changing paradigms and interactions with the Church.To further refine the research problem, the following questions are addressed: 4. How do education and upbringing issues manifest in M. Reinys’ work and written legacy within the social and cultural context? 5. What connections between theology and the sciences of education can be identified in M. Reinys’ written legacy on the themes of education? 6. The ideas of education and development emphasised in M. Reinys’ written legacy hold historical importance not only within the social and cultural context of emerging independent Lithuania (1918 - 1940) but also remain relevant in the post-independence era (since 1990) and the transformation of contemporary education. Goal of the research. The primary goal of the study is to reveal the uniqueness of M. Reinys’ written legacy in shaping the ideas of education and upbringing within emerging independent Lithuania (1918 - 1940) and their relevance to the educational system of the restored Lithuania (since 1990). Research objectives 6. To critically analyse the content and distinctiveness of M. Reinys’ written legacy, drawing on documents from independent Lithuania (1918 - 1940) and the ideas of contemporary scholars on education and upbringing. 7. To examine M. Reinys’ pastoral, academic, and political activities to unveil his dedication to education and upbringing, as well as the interconnectedness between theology and education within the social and cultural context. 8. To analyse M. Reinys’ written legacy at the intersection of two socio-cultural contexts: Europe and emerging independent Lithuania, thereby demonstrating and substantiating the uniqueness and significance of M. Reinys’ ideas on education and upbringing. 9. To reveal the relationship between the content of M. Reinys’ articles and the philosophy of education.10. To evaluate the relevance of M. Reinys’ ideas on education and development for the restored Lithuania (post-1990) as well as for contemporary educational provisions. Scope of the research The scope of the research encompasses the discussion of Archbishop M. Reinys’ biography, analysis of his pastoral, academic, and political activities, presentation of the historical and socio-cultural context along with the associated issues of education and upbringing, description of the philosophical trends influencing M. Reinys’ ideas on education and upbringing, and examination of the Archbishop's written heritage. [eLABa]
