ENThe article discusses the metaphoric conceptualizations of Lithuania show up in Władysław Syrokomla’s poem titled "Margier". The work has been analysed to demonstrate and characterize the metaphors co-creating the poetic, personal vision of the artist’s homeland that oscillates between a source message and the poet’s imagination.
