ENThe article analyses alternative lexemes and textual fragments written in the margins of manuscript lists of the hagiographies of the St Procopius of Scytopolis, St Pelagia of Tarsus, and St Athanasius of Alexandria, translated by Orthodox and Uniates of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland from the Polish-language hagiographic corpus Żywoty Świętych by the famous Catholic preacher Piotr Skarga. The data obtained allow to identify the lists subjected to secondary editing according to other Cyrillic versions, which helps to clarify or refine the textual history of the hagiography.
