ENThe objective of the article is to present the figures of the castellans of Minsk: Aleksander Rusiecki, and his wife Konstancja née Karp (ca. 1677–1701) daughter of Józef Eliasz and Anna née Dunin-Karwicka Karp. Moreover, the aim is to show the costs of education, dowry and wedding of a noblewoman at the end of the 17th century. Aleksander Rusiecki was a member of the family originating from the district of Brest, who bore a coat of arms of Rawicz. He was the younger son of Stefan (d. 1671) and Anna, née Duchess Szuyska (d. after 1697). The young couple inherited the property of Narewka in the Grodno County and the Zdzitowiec estate in the Brest County. To keep them, they had to go through many lawsuits. Aleksander Rusiecki was an opponent of the hegemony of the Sapieha family in Lithuania, and he took part in the battle of Olkienniki on November 18, 1700. Aleksander Rusiecki died shortly after 1720.
