ENBased on the example of the Neledinsky and Kolychev families, the author discusses the forms of their emigration to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from the Muscovite state in the second half of the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. Based on parchments from the Archive of Piłsudski-Giniatowicz family at the Central Archives of Historical Records (AGAD) in Warsaw, it was possible to clarify not only family relations but also details of central officials. The sources for research included mainly Lithuanian Metrics books and memorial books, especially the so-called Subbotnik ili Pominik of the Supraśl Orthodox Monastery and the official genealogy book called Rodoslovets of the Neledinsky and Kolychev families. The article clarifies the time of the end of Kiernov’s governor term of Semen Podberesky and reveals the new governor’s name. The main goal was to trace the roots of the Kolychev and Neledinsky families and see how they entered the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and adapted to their new environment.
