ENThe article provides new information concerning several facts from the history of numismatics and philophaleristics of interwar Lithuania. It speaks ofthe gifts given by Lithuanian emigrantsin the USA to Lithuanian museums: the gifts donated by the collector Aleksandras Mykolas Račkus to Kaunas City Museum as well as to the Museum of Marijampole Marian Priest Gymnasium in 1926-1927; also the badges of various USA organisations donated by Father Pranciškus Mykolas Juras to the Vytautas the Great Museum of Culture in 1939. The article also concentrates on the fund-raising history for the construction of the Vytautas the Great Museum. It has been found that four badges were issued to this end: in 1929 and 1930 (the artist Adomas Varnas), in 1933 (the artist Antanas Kučas), and in 1934 (the artist Kipras Šaulys). It has also been found that the artist of the badge of Higher Officers’ Courses of Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas the Great (1923) was also Adomas Varnas. [From the publication]
