LTPastaruoju metu pasipildė informacija apie XVI a.-XIX a. pradžios monetų ir jų lobių radinius, o tai savo ruožtu papildo duomenis apie to meto pinigų apyvartą istoriniame Žiemgalos regione. Žinių apie juos suteikė R. G. Straipsnio tikslas - paskelbti Titonių lobio (2014 m., Pakruojo r. sav.) ir Satkūnų senosios karčemos vietos (2017 m„ Joniškio r. sav.) monetų radinius. ENRecently, the information about the 16th - early 19th century coin finds (the place of the old Satkūnai Inn, 2017, Joniškis District Municipality) and coin hoards (Titoniai, 2014, Pakruojis District Municipality) has been supplemented. The coin complexes of the old Satkūnai Inn constitute a valuable source to study money circulation in the 16th - early 19th centuries not only at a regional but also at a national level. The find spot - the alleged inn location - is also of great interest. The inn was situated in a convenient geographical position, i.e., by the road leading from Riga to Šiauliai, and was associated with the 16th—17th centuries wars. The first coin complex-hoard or the content of a purse-pouch dating back to approximately 1627 consisted of fifty units of 16lh - early 17th century coins (the earliest one dating back to 1533). The second complex comprised eight 1622-1806 coins stuck together. It is possible that seven more coins belonged to this complex. Relatively little is known about the late 18th - early 19th century coin hoards; therefore, this find has supplemented significantly the available information about money circulation in northern Lithuania at that time. Since the coins were not discovered during archaeological excavations, it is hard to say whether the 17th century coins should be attributed to the complex. It is likely that the finds were discovered next to each other and came from another cultural layer, possibly that of the inn. Titoniai hoard consisted of fifty-nine coins (1615-1747): patagons of Spanish Netherlands (27 units) and the Prince-Bishopric of Liege (11 units), silver ducats of the United Provinces ofthe Netherlands (20 units), 1 ruble of the Russian Empire (1731).
