ENThe paper discusses category of working grandparents in Lithuania as one of consequences of population ageing. The intersection of working age and grandparenting age possibly brings tensions that are still poorly discussed in scientific literature. Based on analysis of secondary statistical and demographic data, the paper tries to estimate the scope of category of working grandparents in Lithuania; reveals demographic and social context of working grandparents, as well as highlights possible tensions that the intersection of working and grandparenting life may bring.
