Renavo dvaro senasis vaismedžių sodas

LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiama XVIII a. pab.-XIX a. Renavo dvaro (Mažeikių r. sav.) sodo istorija. Kartu aptariamas ir bendras to laikotarpio Lietuvos sodininkystės kultūros kontekstas. Renavo dvaro savininkai (Ronne) dar XVIII a. antroje pusėje dvare įkūrė į rinką orientuotą modernų sodą, prekiavo vaisiais, sodinukais. Sodas buvo kuriamas laikantis vokiškų sodininkavimo tradicijų, bet susijęs tiek su vokiška Livonijos, tiek su lietuviška Vilniaus sodininkystės kultūromis. Sodas buvo palaikomas bei prižiūrimas ir dvarą XIX a. pabaigoje paveldėjusių Melžinskių (Mielžyiiski). Seniausioji sodo dalis yra išlikusi iki šių dienų. [Iš leidinio]

ENThe article provides an overview of the history of the garden of Renavas Manor (Mažeikiai district) from the end of the 18th century to the 19th century. At the same time, the general context of Lithuanian horticultural culture of that period is discussed. In the second half of the 18th century, the owners of Renavas Manor (Ronne) established a market-oriented modern garden in the manor, selling fruits and seedlings. The garden was created in accordance with German gardening traditions but was related to both German Livonian and Lithuanian (Vilnius) horticultural cultures. The garden was maintained and cared for by the Melžinskis (Mielżyński) family, who inherited the manor at the end of the 19th century. The oldest part of the garden has survived to this day.
