In the Journal:
Strategic forum. Washington : National Defense University Press. 2020, no. 307, 20 p
Summary / Abstract:

ENSince regaining independence in 1991, the Baltic states’ (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) foreign and diplomatic main objective has been full integration with the West. Each state has adopted comprehensive defense to coordinate the actions of its military, civilian government, private sector, and the general populations to deter and defeat Russian aggression. In applying comprehensive defense, each state has improved its armed forces, strengthened its ability to counter Russian information warfare, coordinated security measures with its neighbors, deepened its integration with European and international organizations, and worked to reduce its economic and energy dependence on Russia.
