ENIn this article, pottery finds from Klaipėda (Memel) castle and the adjacent town are presented together with the results of their analysis. The data received during research was evaluated as direct evidence of contacts and cultural connec tions between the Teutonic Order periphery and Western Europe. This set of data from Klaipėda is probably the richest source available, and so it will be used to present the dining traditions of the community of medieval Klaipėda. Furthermore, this archaeological source helps to widen our understanding of the cultural connections between Klaipeda and Western Europe. [Extract, p. 27]
