ENLiterature is an important part of pre-school aged children's esthetical and linguistic education. One of the most important literature education points is comprehension of language structure and meaning. Nowadays, use of the IT usually replaces acquaintance with children literature texts, so pre-school children, who are being prepared for school, should not forget children books or magazines. Furthermore, a lot of issues, related opportunities and ways of (self) education in pre-school period, appear. Conclusions: the research has revealed that teachers allocate a lot of time to support children's literature learning/education. However, they miss the opportunity to introduce folk culture values, folklore texts that help in developing children's national identity. It has been also noticed that small book libraries situated in a group lack of different publications, promoting children to be interested in literature. Parents' questionnaire results have revealed that the parents do not pay enough attention to introduce their children to the bookstores and libraries and their functions. [From the publication]
