LTNacionaliniame M. K. Čiurlionio dailės muziejuje identifikuotas baronų von der Roppų, gyvenusių Šiaulių apskrityje, Pakruojo valsčiuje, Pakruojo dvare, meno rinkinys. Rekonstruoti eksponatų istoriją padėjo Kultūros paveldo centro Paveldosaugos bibliotekos Dokumentų skyriuje atrasta byla, kurioje įrištas „Kultūros paminklų apsaugos įstaigos globojamo kilnojamojo turto praeities liekanų sąrašas (1940 m. rugsėjis)". Sovietmečiu nacionalizuoti 94-iose sąrašo pozicijose (iš 100) aprašyti meno kūriniai atrasti Nacionaliniame M. K. Čiurlionio muziejuje, 3 vienetai Šiaulių „Aušros" muziejuje, o trijų vienetų nepavyko identifikuoti. Esminiai žodžiai: von der Roppai, Pakruojo dvaras, Johann Friedrich Böttger. [Iš leidinio]
ENObjects enter museums in a variety of ways, thus creating different acquisition stories. When it comes to reconstructing the circumstances, a museum specialist sometimes encounters a rather complicated puzzle. One of such stories relates to a unique set of red stone mass vessels. As luck would have it, when browsing through the Documents Department at the Heritage Protection Library (located in the Cultural Heritage Centre), the author of this article came across a list, written in September 1940 by the representatives of the Institution for the Protection of the Cultural Monuments. The list in question is an inventory register testifying the property expropriation and transfer to the museums; the former owner of the property was Baron Leon Carl von der Ropp (Leo Carl von der Ropp, b. 27 September i860 in Pakruojis - d. 10 October 1940 in Berlin) who lived in Šiauliai County, Pakruojis district, Pakruojis Manor. The list helped to determine the artistic value of the collection accumulated in von der Ropps' manor, revealed the fate of the whole collection - including the collection of red stoneware, - shed light to the details of the expropriation, revealed intriguing facts about other collection owners, and supplied information about the activity ofthe Institution for the Protection ofthe Cultural Monuments in 1940. The majority ofthe art works described in the list are held at the M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art and only a few were allocated to Šiauliai "Aušros" Museum. [From the publication]
