Kodas EM 1888: archeologijos ir etnologijos jungtis

LTStraipsnyje pristatomos dvi bendra praeitimi susietos, tačiau skirtingiems muziejams priklausančios muziejinės vertybės. Nacionalinio muziejaus LDK valdovų rūmų eksponatas – metalinė plokštelė su įrašu „IST.ETN. MUZIEJUS EM 1888“ – buvo surastas 2005 m., atliekant archeologinius tyrinėjimus Vilniaus Žemutinės pilies teritorijoje. Paaiškėjo, kad tai yra Istorijos ir etnografijos muziejaus (dab. Lietuvos nacionalinis muziejus) etnografinių rinkinių eksponato – žeberklo – inventorinis numeris. 1977 m. šis eksponatas buvo perduotas Baltarusijos SSR Mokslo akademijos Meno, etnografijos ir folkloro instituto muziejui. Tyrimas skiriamas muziejinių vertybių laikmečio kontekstui pristatyti: kultūrinėms, politinėms realijomis, įtakojusioms muziejinių vertybių mobilumą, to laikotarpio apskaitos, apsaugos ypatybes. ENIn June 2005, archaeological excavations were started in Vilnius Lower Castle, northwest of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and south of the National Museum of Lithuania. During them, in the upper, mixed layers, a square plate of the museum exhibit, made of aluminum alloy, with the printed inventory number “IST.ETN. MUSEUM EM 1888” was found. It turned out that this was the inventory number of the exhibit of ethnographic collections of the former Museum of History and Ethnography – the spear. In the interwar period, the spear entered Lithuania into the newly established Ethnographic Museum of Stephen Bathory University, but during the Soviet era, in the eighth decade, along with several hundred other values, the spear was transferred to the Museum of Art, Ethnography and Folklore Institute of the Belarusian SSR Academy of Sciences. The article aims to show how an archaeological find reveals a rich, multi-layered history of museum value worthy of a detective story: its cultural and political realities that influenced the mobility of museum values, accounting and security features of that period. The article reviews the activities of the Ethnographic Museum of Stephen Bathory University, the Museum of Lithuanian History and Ethnography (Vilnius Ethnographic Museum in 1941–1952). The role of the museologist and ethnologist Marija Znamerovka-Priuferova in this history and the complicated circumstances of returning the exhibit to Belarus, which remain vague to this day, are discussed in more detail.
